Country Research Projects

Our country research projects encourage students to investigate world geography and cultures. Each project contains a variety of activities to complete and glue into a separate notebook (not provided), creating a wonderful artifact to share and keep.

Activities include: maps, country stats, flag, currency, language, food, sports, animals, clothing, important people, holidays, and culminating activity choices. Each project also comes with a 4-point rubric and a student passport with a country “stamp.” Students will enjoy filling their passport as they are learning about our diverse world.

Country research projects can be used as an independent learning center, a small group cooperative learning experience, or a whole class activity.

There are a great variety of activities/information, and I especially like the open-ended templates for differentiation.

It was great to see them actively engaged in their own research- much better than me simply presenting a powerpoint on Chile!

I love that it includes so many of my states standards while also allowing kids to learn about a place most had never heard of before.
