Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country consisting of the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and many smaller islands. The country is best known for its Sydney Opera House, the Great Barrier Reef, and unique animals such as kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses.
