NETHERLANDS
The Netherlands, also known as Holland, is a country in northwestern Europe. It is known for its colorful tulip fields, winding canals, windmills, bicycles, and friendly cities.
Much of the Netherlands is very flat, and some land even lies below sea level. People here have found clever ways to live with water, using dikes, canals, and pumps to help keep the land dry. From its busy capital, Amsterdam, to its peaceful countryside, the Netherlands is a fascinating place to explore!
